Manchester Science Festival

Manchester’s very own science festival returns from Friday 21st up until Sunday 30th October. This year’s festival features world premieres, inspiring experiences, and entertaining events for all to enjoy.

This year’s theme is all aimed at exploring what makes us human and thinking, ‘What does the future hold for humanity?’. Whether you’re looking for a family day out or just hold an interest in the world of science, this year’s festival shouldn’t be missed.

Rugby League World Cup 2022

This year’s Rugby League World Cup is making history. For the first ever time, the men’s, women’s, and wheelchair games will all be played at the same time. What’s even better is that it’s happening right on our doorstep.

Old Trafford will host both the women’s and men’s finals of the cup, and Manchester Central will host the Wheelchair final. Not far from Manchester, Bolton and Wigan will also stage some games during the tournament. It’s not very often this will happen so get yourself to a game and cheer on our England teams!

The Art of Banksy

Following a successful year-long run in London and praise from all over the world. The Art of Banksy is appearing at MediaCity from 21 October 2022 up until January.

The exhibition features 145 iconic pieces to create a Banksy collection like no other.

‘Catch ‘Em All’ at The Trafford Centre is a unique, treasure hunt-style event will take place from Monday 17th October to Sunday 13th November. Visitors can discover hidden art of the 151 Pokémon originally discovered in the Kanto region.
